Smart energy is an advanced energy management model. It makes up for the energy deficiencies of different energy equipment by dispatching different types of energy equipment in different comprehensive energy parks. Realize the comprehensive energy system to achieve high energy efficiency, low carbon emission, stable energy output, and then stabilize the entire energy supply and demand market. Smart energy is including the entire life cycle process of energy system construction, operation, maintenance, update, and disposal, and comprehensively coordinates the energy supply, consumption, transmission, and storage steps of the energy system, and realizes the integration of energy from production to consumption. Deeply optimize the internal carbon emissions of all energy-related industries, break the isolation of various energy equipment in the traditional energy system and the information barriers on both sides of the energy, and realize the integration of the physical model and information model of the energy system.

At the AECR lab, we are studying on the research about all-in-one energy system solutions for the China national energy strategy and carbon peaking(or neutrality) policies. The current research we focuses on contains planning and optimal scheduling methods of regional integrated energy systems, game analysis and policy evaluation between various energy entities within electricity or carbon trading market, and also concerns a virtual energy platform based on CPS(Cyber Physical System).. Furthermore, we supported a number of R&D and application projects to energy companies and government-related units on sustainable energy development, electricity market reform, carbon trading and so on.
